True profitability in agriculture today is not created in offices. It emerges at the intersection of technology and the soil’s natural potential. The Profitable Field 2026 project is focusing this season on two strategic crops — corn and sunflower — putting their resilience to the test under reduced-tillage systems. Our Open-Air Laboratory We have chosen […]

Can a business be efficient if its employees show up for work for only three months a year and spend the rest of the time doing nothing? The answer is obvious. Yet this is essentially how most Ukrainian fields are managed. A traditional crop rotation — sunflower, corn and wheat — uses the soil’s productive […]

Soil is not simply a substrate for seeds. It is a living system that breathes, becomes exhausted and rewards those who take care of it. At the Profitable Field conference organized by AgriLab, a panel discussion unfolded that, in both emotion and depth, felt less like a professional meeting and more like a manifesto for […]

At the Profitable Field conference, held in Kyiv on February 19, a panel discussion on plant nutrition became a genuine manifesto against “average figures.” Moderated by Vadym Skrypnyk, the discussion opened with a provocative memory: “Twenty years ago, an agronomy lecture would begin with the question: ‘How much does NPK fertilizer cost?’ Back then, we didn’t […]

At the Poltava-Sad farm, AgriLab held the large-scale Agro Forsazh 2.0 agricultural event as part of the Profitable Field (PFT Field) project. PFT Field (Profitable Field) is an innovative platform built around some of Ukraine’s most progressive farms. Its goal is to demonstrate modern agricultural technologies and solutions that can improve the efficiency and profitability […]

As part of the Profitable Field project, the effectiveness of Ukrainian Agro-Industrial Group’s own products was studied using modern variable-rate fertilizer application technologies based on soil agrochemical analysis — as a key to efficient use of agricultural resources and the financial resources of agricultural companies. Key objectives of the research: determine the effectiveness of applying […]

On October 10, a demonstration site for Agrilab’s “Profitable Field” project was established at Poltava-Sad in Poltava Region. A comprehensive field trial was set up on a 20-hectare experimental plot to study grain corn production under different tillage technologies, nutrient management systems, and field management approaches. The main objective of the demonstration site was to […]

This year, Agrilab and its partners established a series of trials at five locations across different soil and climatic conditions in Ukraine to evaluate and demonstrate which tillage and crop nutrition technologies, as well as their combinations, perform best under different conditions. The main focus is on moisture-saving and resource-efficient technologies. This is the Profitable […]
