The Philosophy of Precision: “Profitable Field 2026” Explores the Limits of Strip-Till and No-Till Efficiency

True profitability in agriculture today is not created in offices. It emerges at the intersection of technology and the soil’s natural potential.

The Profitable Field 2026 project is focusing this season on two strategic crops — corn and sunflower — putting their resilience to the test under reduced-tillage systems.

Our Open-Air Laboratory

We have chosen partners for whom “precision agriculture” is not a buzzword, but a daily standard of quality. These are companies that carefully account for every unit of active ingredient and analyze every centimeter of the seedbed.

  • Poltava and Kyiv regions: Here, we continue to refine our approach. Years of data allow us to see how moisture accumulates and how nutrient availability changes in undisturbed soil. Our long-standing partner, Poltava-Sad, is once again becoming a testing ground for bold decisions.
  • Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad regions: Together with new participants, Dibrova LLC and Shans PE, we are taking a closer look at the specifics of farming in these conditions. This is precision technology at its finest, with nutrients delivered directly into the root growth zone. How will fertilizers perform under such conditions? We will provide an answer backed by thousands of data points.

From Analysis to Results

We start with the foundation. One of the first stages of the project is a detailed soil analysis of the fields where the trials are being established. Today, we are completing this stage at Dibrova LLC.

The goal is to collect the most detailed data possible so that, by the end of the season, the results are transparent and easy to evaluate. Our aim is to build a comprehensive digital model of each field before the seeder makes its first pass.

We are not simply comparing fertilizers — we are comparing their performance under specific microclimatic conditions. Together with our meticulous partners — whose names we will reveal later — we are developing field-specific technology maps in which every litre of fuel and every gram of nitrogen has a clear economic rationale.

Profitable Field 2026 is a project for those who want to manage their yields rather than simply wait for them.
