AgriStart is an innovative educational project created at the initiative of AgriLab in cooperation with the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences. The project includes a set of practical seminars, research projects on the effectiveness of precision agriculture elements, practical workshops with leading agricultural experts, grants for internships abroad, workshops, and much more. In addition, students and teachers are provided with modern equipment and advanced technologies: portable laboratories, touch monitors, unmanned aerial vehicles, soil samplers and more. Everyone is talking about a sharp shortage of personnel in agrosphere today. But only a few do the real steps to solve this problem. The AgriStart project is a far-sighted strategic step for business, which understands the importance of developing human resources. The mission of such educational projects as AgriStart is not only to teach students how to work with modern technologies, but more importantly, to change their outlook, to teach them to respond dynamically to innovations, and, ultimately, to create their own innovations.
Thanks to the creation of such a laboratory in the arrangement and equipment of which our partners have invested about 1.5 million hryvnias, we were given the opportunity to train our students with state-of-the-art technologies and to improve the educational programs of soil science and agrochemical purposes by organizing such a platform as Agristart.
For a young specialist, the main thing is motivation: to study, look for opportunities, participate in such competitions, find solutions. And it is very nice that the agrarian business is involved in changing the content of education and standards.
