The future is for “precise” technologies. Specialists, for whom this is not just words, but an axiom, were gathered on August 29 in Kyiv at the conference “Precision Agriculture-2018”. The conference participants, about 200 of them, discussed current trends in the development of innovations, features of different technologies and, most importantly, their effectiveness.
Petro Melnyk, executive director of Agricom Group, shared his experience in implementing precise agriculture. In particular, he spoke about the key factors that led to the introduction of modern technologies. The impact of these factors is felt not only by agricultural holdings but also by farms: there is an urgent need to optimize costs and improve control over the use of resources. And due to the introduction of precision farming technology, the company managed to significantly reduce the cost of production.
Eugene Sapizhenko, head of the KERNEL modeling and monitoring service, spoke on the efficiency of precision farming technologies. He also noticed that the company pays much attention to diesel management, and in the staff of the company — more than 60 experts in precision farming.
From the specialists of AgriLab, participants of the conference learned about the key factors that determine the effectiveness of the implemented technologies. In particular, Yevhen Przedchenko, deputy commercial director, noticed that precision agriculture begins with a qualitative analysis of the soil. And at this stage, it’s important to take into account all the nuances, because the reliable data of agrochemical analysis determine the correctness of fertilizer standards; The correct method of interpolation is the correct boundaries of the input zones, and so on.
In turn, Oleksiy Tarasenko, AgriLab’s chief agrochemicals, noted that the differentiated introduction of integrated fertilizers implies an impact on the zone of the introduction of all the elements that are part of it. For example: we introduce leunaphos and close the need for phosphorus. Accordingly, the introduced elements affect the rate of nitrogen and sulfur.
Therefore, in the exact agriculture — every detail is important and it is necessary to carefully check and plan each step. Already for four years, the company AgriLab is walking side by side with large agroholdings and small farms, helping to implement various elements of precision agriculture. Implementing correctly, taking into account all the details and features of complex algorithms, so that every farmer — from the owners and managers of the companies that initiate the introduction of innovations — to agronomists, mechanics and tractor drivers have the benefits of precision farming and were convinced that their company is on the right path development!
The effectiveness of cooperation with AgriLab was confirmed by Oleksandr Vodolashchenko, Director of Information Systems at AgroGeneration, noting that together with AgriLab AgroLogues he conducted complex agro-diagnostics over 90% of their area.
In general, the conference “Precision Agriculture” collects more and more participants every year, who understand: the technologies of precise agriculture and the dedication of agribusiness is a future that begins today.
