ІХ International conference “Effective agro-companies management”– one of the biggest agricultural event of Eastern Europe, which unite the top-managers, officials, politicians, and scientists to discuss global issues of agricultural sector development. Will be enough the potential of domestic agribusiness to become the catalyst of economic increase in Ukraine? Whether will he stand the competition in the international market? What innovations need to be implemented today to be among the leaders tomorrow? These topics were the main theme of the event.

“For qualitative jump and effective innovations implementation in the agribusiness sector, the cardinal changes are needed in the education and science, radical restructuring of business processes and management system in agribusiness, full overview of labor legislation and the opening of the access for skilled personnel from abroad, setting up the new sales markets through making new trade agreements and overview existing and attracting foreign direct investment into the sector through the selling assets and lands” , – noticed Aleks Lissitsa, CEO of IMK, president of Association “Ukrainian agribusiness club”.

 

Delay of innovation – cannot be. A special guest at the conference, one of the founders of world known company Horsch, Mikhael Horsch accented this.

«We should talk, first of all, about the payment level for land lease in Ukraine, which was 20 $/ha 15-20 years ago or  100$/ha 10 years ago, and now it’s 150-200$/ha. Competitive advantage in the market will get those, who will be able to pay more for land lease. Among other factors, increase of  lease cost points out that agriculture became more professional. If  the holding has many hecctares, but bad management, it will become bankrupt already tomorrow. The same way farms, which don’t use modern technologies – will lose,”- said Mikhael Horsch in his speech.

That, how much effective technologies, how they act on practice, attendees of the conference could see by themselves during the second event, which was in the format of demonstration of technique work in the field conditions, that conducted under the name Day of Agro technologies.
