Ukraine is famous in the world for its black soil and fertile fields. We are lucky with the natural and climatic conditions. However, the efficiency of agriculture in the country – not the highest. One Ukrainian farmer produces products, needed for 15 people at the same time as Israel -75. And this despite the fact, that only 10% of Israeli land are suitable for agricultural cultivation. What is the secret of success? The answer is obvious – in technology.

Precision farming as a key factor in the development of the agricultural sector – that is what was the topic of report by Iaroslav Boiko, CEO of «AgriLab». Opening the discussion, he said:”1000 hectares of black soil resources and constantly increasing investment in agricultural machinery park – its not enough for Ukrainian farmers today. It is time to stop and analyze their unproductive attempts to invest. It is necessary to think about how to work efficiently and earn more. “Iron” used without “smart technologies” and innovations – is only iron. “

The implementation of modern agrotechnological solutions allowed to Israel not only provide their own food needs for 95%, but also to export some kinds of agricultural products. Step by step, Ukrainian producers adopt the experience of their Israelian colleagues.

“Today, farmers, which are  using innovations already, in particular – precision farming technology, not only increased the level of production, when resources are expensive,  but also improved the quality and efficiency of production processes, – said Iaroslav Boiko. Our customers practice shows, that the indicators of efficiency are in range from a few to 50% or more. It all depends on the kind of technology, used by farmer. “
