Here’s a closer look at the technology used in this trial, targeting an effective yield of approximately 3.0 t/ha.

🚜 Soil Preparation

• Ploughing to a depth of 30 cm using a Lemken EuroDiamant 10 plough.
• Moisture conservation at a depth of 5–6 cm using a UFO TZ60 SP-TP AL RS M-C disc harrow.
• Pre-sowing cultivation to a depth of 5–7 cm using a CASE IH Tiger-Mate 255 cultivator.

🌟 Planting and Fertilizer Application

Planting with a Precision Planting Ukraine planter, with fertilizers applied simultaneously:

• UAN-32: 100 L/ha from Ukrainian Agro-Industrial Group.
• Quantum Diafan ACTion 3-18-18: 25 L/ha from Quantum.ua.

Crop Protection

• Express (Grizzly Expert): 0.03 g.
• Quistar: 1.5 L/ha.
• Quistart: 1.3 L/ha.
• Heliantex: 0.045 L/ha.
• PAR Trend: 0.2 L/ha.

After the sunflower plants developed 5–6 pairs of leaves, crop protection products were applied using a TOPXGUN FP300 agricultural spraying drone from Multicopter UA.

LG 50479 SX sunflower hybrid from LG Seeds Ukraine, with a seeding rate of 60,000 seeds/ha.

• Sown area: 5.03 ha — 302,002 seeds.
• Unsown area: 1.05 ha — 63,042 seeds.
